SCOTT Evocative, expansive, and engaging without ever falling into overly dramatic territory. Like others have mentioned here, I get the sense of drifting in a faraway place.

Chris P. Bacon If you would need a Band describing how it feels like to wander through Norways landscapes, I believe Spurv would be the one. High pitched soft played notes encompassing the vast nothingness of the often desolate countryside, in combination with a rough bassline in discription of a harsh albeit beautiful land.

Spurv delivers an often dreamy build up in the tracks culminating in a somewhat more energetic ending whilst never leaving its smoothness. Favorite track: Hvorfor er det noe og ikke ingenting.

TONY ZAGORAIOS One of the hardest skills for a band nowadays is to redefine the term of post-rock and Spurv is becoming one of those by knowing how to build musical compositions that hold your imagination until the end.
Martin S K

Martin S K Standing high upon the mountains looking down. The mist is covering the trees below and the wind is hurrying across your body. The mountains are rumbling and you witness their movements. The world is alive.

This LP stops time and fills you with wonder and a sense of appreciation. It makes you aware of everything around you. You might fear the fall down from the mountains but you'll feel more free and secure than ever on the way down. Everything is okay and this LP is proof of that. Favorite track: Mellom broen og elven.
Post-Rock Essentials

Post-Rock Essentials This music is like a long walk through the beautiful Scandinavian Nature. You are all alone and enjoy life and the silence. Constant goosebump alarm throughout the whole Album. This music almost brings me to tears. It is that beautiful.

The first song is almost 15 minutes long but when it ends you wish it would lasted for much longer. For all of those that enjoy music in the vein of This Patch Of Sky, early Mono, Caspian or new Bands like Legendary Skies & Hubris than you MUST get this Album ! Favorite track: Passacaglia (fugler med ord i nebbet).

adrian gonzalvo This is the kind of passionate and memorable music I've missed since I listened to albums like Enjoy Eternal Bliss, Golevka or Hymn to the Immortal Wind for the first time. It might well leave you in tears.
